A high-fantasy life RPG. Everyone lives the same life today.

Every day there is one new baby, born in Candlemere, a town on a lake. Everyone who plays that day gets the same baby, the same family and the same street. You live that life from birth to death in about fifteen minutes, one choice at a time. Then your life is compared with everyone born the same year.

How to play

  1. Read the story. It tells your life a chapter at a time: childhood, youth, adult life, old age.
  2. When something needs you, choices appear under the text. Pick one. Some choices roll a 20-sided die. The number on a choice is your chance of success. A red number is the chance you die.
  3. Tap Continue to move on to the next thing that needs you. Or pick a speed and let the quiet years go by on their own.
  4. In between, you can change your work, do one small thing each season and spend time with your people.
  5. When the life ends you get four scores: years, wealth, standing and power. Each one is compared with everyone born in Candlemere that year. The best three count. Then you can share your result.

Today’s life is the same for everyone and ranked. Free play gives you a random birth, and a full life of 30 to 45 minutes if you want one. No account, no ads. Your lives are saved in this browser.
